Welcome to the TIA Watchdog® reporting
system
The TIA Watchdog® site is a
forum for TIA members to find out important information
about carriers and 3PL's so that they can make informed
decisions when selecting companies with whom to work. This reporting
system gives TIA members a way to quickly alert each other to
marketplace problems and help reduce future negative incidents occurring
against TIA members.
Here’s how it
works: A TIA member files a report at www.tiawatchdog.com to describe a negative
experience they have had with a carrier or 3PL. The company being
reported may then reply and after 72 hours the entire report is removed
or posted to the site for TIA members to see. This gives TIA
members both sides of the story.
Through TIA Watchdog®, TIA members
are able to report on motor carriers, or companies and individuals
posing as motor carriers, that did one or more of the following:
unauthorized re-brokering of shipments; no show and no call; cancelled
after accepting load; held load hostage, back-solicited shipper;
in-transit agreement modification; theft or unjustified loss of freight;
and persistent canceling.
TIA members are also able to report on
3PLs that did one or more of the following: unauthorized brokering
of shipment; payment issues; brokers freight without broker or
freight forwarder authority; operates without bond or trust fund; and
operates under unregistered
alias.
Access to this site is exclusive to TIA members, unless you recieved
and are responding to a TIA Watchdog Report.
