Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) ProgramThe Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) Program was developed by TIA to increase the professionalism and integrity of property brokerage, meet the education needs of brokers, and expand basic knowledge of the brokerage and transportation industry through a rigorous certification program. top subject matter experts from within TIA membership were recruited to
share the detailed knowledge which can only be achieved with many years
in the industry. Topics range from computer technology to insurance to
sales and marketing. Dr Joe Hanna, Chair and Professor of Supply Chain
Management, Auburn University has assisted with the development of the
course and will be the instructor for the course and will provide an
academic resource.

Temperature Control TransportJanuary 19, 2009; March 16, 2009Teaches dispatchers and customer service representatives all aspects of transporting refrigerated materials. Participants learn techniques to coach drivers handling perishable and temperature sensitive freight; which helps reduces claims while responsibly handling real-life situations while in transit.
