Leslie Kranz Appointed Director of Marketing and Communications for Transportation Intermediaries Association

Transportation professional to oversee development and execution of marketing programs supporting TIA’s growing membership and services for the third-party logistics industry.

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia, August 24, 2016 – Leslie Kranz, an award-winning marketing leader with broad third-party logistics and transportation industry experience, has been appointed director of marketing for TIA. She will oversee all marketing and communications programs designed to support the Association’s growing membership and member services.

“Leslie brings industry insight into the challenges facing 3PL businesses of all types and sizes,” TIA President and CEO, Robert Voltmann said. “Her background and strategic marketing skills will be invaluable in helping us connect with new and existing members who understand the vital role TIA can play in growing their business.”

Kranz joins TIA from her role as marketing director at two leading technology companies, Banyan Technology, Inc. and TMW Systems, Inc. Prior to entering the transportation industry eight years ago, Kranz was a marketing communications practitioner in Silicon Valley for over twenty years. She is a member of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association and Women in Trucking.
