The Certified Transportation Broker (CTB) Program was developed by
the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) to increase the
professionalism and integrity of property brokerage, meet the
educational needs of brokers, and expand basic knowledge of the
brokerage and transportation industry through a rigorous certification
program. The CTB Program, designed with home study and exam components,
provides brokers with a wealth of information on business operations,
transportation regulations, and brokerage practices.
Professional Recognition
As a Certified Transportation Broker, you will earn the right to wear
the CTB lapel pin, exclusive use of the CTB logo on business cards and
letterhead, and a custom-made plaque in recognition of your professional
achievement. During the TIA Annual Convention and Trade Show, CTBs are
honored with a special luncheon along with the Board of Directors. In
addition, press releases are sent to the transportation trade media.
