As the 3PL industry matures, the opportunity for training, increased networking, and increased development of best practice benchmarking by department will increase. To meet these needs, TIA will build the TIA Logistics Academy. The Logistics Academy will offer leaders and rising company leaders of our member companies involved with legal and risk management, financial management, marketing and sales management, operations and human resources, the opportunity to interact with their industry peers while attending day-and-a-half seminars developed and geared for their specific disciplines. The result will be better company leaders and networking, which will lead to the development of best practice benchmarks at the department level.
