Have to Say

“TIA has provided many benefits for our company. One of the most important benefits to us is the educational opportunities TIA provides. As a small company, we are limited in the amount of training we can provide our employees. To supplement our training, we’ve taken full advantage of the courses offered by TIA, most notably the CTB program. This has allowed us to develop more well-rounded and productive employees.”

- Ken Smith, CTB, Breck Logistics

“TIA has always been a resource for best practices, vendor qualification, and regulatory impacts. Our relationship with TIA allows us to experience our massive and diverse industry from a perspective that stretches above and beyond our demographic footprint.”

- Andrew Lynch, Zipline Logistics

“The biggest thing from a day-to-day operations standpoint would be the model contracts. We found there’s a lot of small shippers out there that our members really fit that niche, and most of them do not have any kind of contract. So, from the 3PL to broker standpoint, for our members to have a contract readily available, that typically everyone can sign off on, makes our members easier to do business with.”

– Geoff Turner, Choptank

“The education component, to us, is huge. We participate in a lot of the webinars. And not only myself, but others in the office are exposed to that as well. So, I think its valuable to us, to be able to be on the phone, be online, hear from an industry expert,  making recommendations on how we can improve our processes whether it's from an operational standpoint, a sales standpoint – I think these things are great.”

- Todd Brule, Triage Logistics

“[Advocacy] is important because we employee a strong number of individuals and from a tax perspective, as well as businesses throughout the country, we have a strong representation.”

– Cori Eckley, NATCO Transport

“The CTB study course will unquestionably help further your career as a transportation broker and will increase your knowledge of the industry dramatically. I would recommend that anyone who is looking to be a leader or just improve as a broker take this course. It is worth every penny!”

– William Burns, Devote Dispatchers
