AUGUST 19, 2021 – ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA – Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), the voice of the third-party logistics (3PL) industry, released today the following update from TIA President & CEO Anne Reinke regarding health and safety protocols at upcoming TIA meetings and events:
With the resurgence of COVID-19 in recent months, I wanted to take this opportunity to provide an update on where things stand regarding TIA’s return to in-person meetings and events.
While the COVID-19 news continues to concern us all, we want you to know that we are committed to conducting our meetings safely – including having 100% of our staff already being fully vaccinated. Attendees at upcoming TIA meetings and events will not be required to show proof of vaccination. Additionally, TIA is following all state, local, and federal health guidelines in the locations where meetings and events will be held.
We are eager to see you at our upcoming meetings, including the 2021 TIA 3PL Policy Forum taking place September 28-29 in Washington, D.C., and the 2021 TIA 3PLXTEND Xperience, which will be held October 20-22 in San Antonio, TX.
